Our Commitment

NPS Bookkeeping does not sell your personal information. We have never sold personal information and have no plans to do so. Your financial data, account information, and usage data are used solely to provide and improve our bookkeeping and tax compliance services.

What This Means for You

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have the right to opt out of the “sale” of their personal information. Because NPS Bookkeepingdoes not sell personal information to any third party for monetary or other valuable consideration, there is no sale to opt out of. We share data with third-party service providers (Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, Resend) only as necessary to operate the platform, which is not considered a “sale” under the CCPA.

Your CCPA Rights

Right to Know

You have the right to request that we disclose what personal information we have collected, the categories of sources from which it was collected, the business purpose for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.

Right to Delete

You have the right to request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions (such as data required for legal compliance or to complete a transaction). You can initiate account deletion through the Close Account option in your My Account settings.

Right to Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. You will not receive different pricing, a different quality of service, or be denied service for making a privacy request.

Right to Correct

You have the right to request correction of inaccurate personal information. You can update most of your information directly through the Profile tab in your My Account settings.

How to Submit a Request

To exercise any of your CCPA rights, you may email us at support@npsbookkeeping.com with the subject line “CCPA Request.” Please include your full name and the email address associated with your account. We will verify your identity before processing the request and respond within 45 days as required by law.

Categories of Personal Information Collected

In the preceding 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers (name, email, phone, EIN), financial information (bank statements, transaction data, receipts), commercial information (subscription records, billing history), internet activity (usage logs, feature interaction data), and professional information (business name, job title, industry).

How We Use This Information

All categories of personal information collected are used for the business purposes described in our Privacy Policy: providing the Service, processing financial documents, generating reports, facilitating communication, processing payments, and improving the platform. We do not use personal information for purposes incompatible with these disclosures.

Authorized Agents

You may designate an authorized agent to submit a CCPA request on your behalf. The agent must provide written authorization signed by you, and we may require verification of your identity directly before processing the request.
